Frequently Asked Questions

How does the YellowDyno™ Child I.D. System work?

The system that we developed is very simple. A child gets his fingerprints and photograph taken by one of our franchisees, and the basic information is entered into a field on the computer. The entire format is one page and requires only basic computer experience. It is a “point and click” system.

I have never fingerprinted anybody before, how will I know if I am doing it correctly?

Very simple, the scanner that we use was developed to capture individual fingerprints. When you click the scan button on your computer, the scanner light turns on. Simply place the child’s finger on the top of the scanner and it will display the child’s fingerprint image on your computer screen. It takes only a couple of seconds, and you will see a clear fingerprint on your screen. You then press the enter key and the software captures the fingerprint image. The computer will automatically place that fingerprint in the box designated for the finger you just printed. That easy! Point and click. You then repeat the process until you have all (ten) digits scanned. It takes approximately one to three seconds per finger.

Each franchisee will have an area with a population of approximately 500,000 people. Territories are assigned and controlled by city/county boundaries.
